Doesn’t it seem like the Los Angeles Clippers have signed just about every available free agent this Summer? Okay, maybe that’s a slight exaggeration but the Clippers have been stockpiling talent as if the end of the world is looming and they may be close to adding another piece in Antawn Jamison.

Jamison has received interest from the Washington Wizards, whom he played for earlier in his career, but the idea of sticking around in Los Angeles has to be appealing to Jamison who spent the past year playing for the Lakers in the same building.

It sounds as if a contract will get done as Yahoo Sports is reporting the two sides are making progress on a deal.

Per Wojo:

Free agent Antawn Jamison and the Clippers are making progress in talks on a one-year contract, league sources tell Y! Sports. No deal yet.

Despite the influx of talent, where the Clippers plan to find the minutes for all of these players, I’m not sure. It’s possible some aren’t that concerned as they’re more interested in winning and that’s something the Clippers shouldn’t have any trouble doing this season.
