Los Angeles Lakers Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Takes a Shot at Dwight Howard

The Dwight Howard free agency tour came to a conclusion in Houston this past weekend, but the amount of former Los Angeles Lakers bagging on the big man seems more like a taping of the ‘Price is Right’ game show – COME ON DOWN.

From current players to former greats to celebrity fans, the hate has been falling steadily on Howard and now the most recent jab comes from Lew Alcindor himself.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar took to his Facebook page recently and hinted that Howard has a “shelf life” and that he was essentially on his way to being basketball’s version of spoiled milk.

Dwight Howard is a perfect example of the fact that “potential has a shelf life.” Laker fans should be patient and allow Mitch & company to prepare themselves to do some serious work in the free agent market.
That wasn’t the only dig Jabbar had for Howard. A few days ago, Jabbar said he was thrilled to hear Dwight Howard was interested in working from him when Howard was acquired from the Orlando Magic last season, but he never heard from Dwight again on the subject.
