Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray has missed the team’s OTAs and minicamps because of a nagging injury, but with free agency just around the corner, Murray is determined to return to the field and he has stated that he will be 100 percent for training camp.

100 percent, ready to go. I’m doing everything,” Murray said, via the Dallas Morning News. “Full speed. I think I’m capable of anything.”

This is obviously good news for the Cowboys, who will need to rely on their rushing attack to take their offense to the next level. Murray has shown off flashes of brilliance during his time as a starter, but injuries have slowed down the former Oklahoma star from reaching his maximum potential.

For Murray, he hopes to watch the Cowboys run a more balanced attack as the team prepares for a potential playoff run.

“There were some times when we got down early, so we had to throw the ball,” Murray said. “We kind of got away from the run game. This year we got to stay balanced and continue to ground-and-pound, and that will open up lanes for Romo. And with him letting it fly a little bit, that will open up lanes for myself.”

The Cowboys open training camp on July 20 at City of Oxford fields.
