Dwight Howard #StayD12 Billboard Still Hanging in Downtown Los Angeles

Golden State Warriors power forward David Lee, who has recently been the subject of trade rumors, was in Los Angeles yesterday and spotted something odd driving down the famed Sunset Boulevard. A Dwight Howard billboard.

The Los Angeles Lakers littered the city with billboards and advertisements requesting Howard to stay of course, and while many were removed, either somebody forgot about one (and it just so happened to be on the heavily populated Sunset) or the company had yet to get to it. Either way, Lee found it quite amusing, taking a picture and posting it to his Instagram account suggesting “somebody didn’t get the memo yet”.

Of course, once Howard announced his decision to sign with the Houston Rockets, nearly all requests for Howard to stay made by the Lakers (namely billboards, both stationary and mobile) were wiped from existence – except for apparently one.

It’s certainly no NFL billboard from 2006 that’s still hanging, but somebody will probably be getting to this ASAP.
