Manny Ramirez Sports New Shaved Head

Veteran slugger Manny Ramirez is attempting a Major League Baseball comeback with the Texas Rangers after spending time in Taiwan with the EDA Rhinos and he his off to a good start. During his first Triple-A start with the Round Rock Express, Ramirez blasted a home run.

While it is nice to see that Ramirez still has his swing, the real story is the shaved head that he was rocking under his helmet.

In an effort to show maturity and comply with team rules, Ramirez shaved off his signature dreadlocks. It’s odd to see Manny without the long locks, but it does hide the grey hair that he’s been showing over the past few months.

If you want to see Ramirez’s first homer in his return to the states, check out the video below. As an added bonus, you get to see Ramirez’s shaved head after he takes off his helmet on the way back in to the dugout.
