The Los Angeles Lakers used the amnesty clause on forward Metta World Peace, but before World Peace was available on the open market he would need to clear waivers. Today, it became official that World Peace successfully cleared waivers and he would be able to sign with whatever team his heart desires.
From Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports:
Metta World Peace has cleared waivers and become a free agent, league source tells Y! Sports.

Of course, World Peace would have to have interest in playing in the NBA this season.
There have been reports that he is more interested in playing basketball in China, but you never know what is really going on in the mind of World Peace.
If he decides to pursue an NBA team for the 2013-14 NBA season, the Los Angeles Clippers are reportedly near the top of the list so that he would not have to relocate. Another team to watch out for would be the New York Knicks, who are close to World Peace’s hometown.
