2013 Lombardi Award Watch List Unveiled

The watch list for the 2013 Lombardi Award has been released with a month and a half to go until college football season, and it looks like half of the players in the nation have been named to the list. More than 100 players were released to the preseason watch list, which is handed out to the best lineman or linebacker in college football.

Last season, the award went to none other than Notre Dame’s Manti Te’o, and this season there are plenty of candidates to choose from — though the overwhelming favorite has to be South Carolina star Jadeveon Clowney.
