Golden State Warriors Andre Iguodala Fires Shots at Sacramento Kings GM

Earlier this month, Andre Iguodala was close to agreeing on a contract with the Sacramento Kings – or so many thought.

The Kings had offered the former Arizona Wildcat a hefty contract but just hours after the deal publicly leaked, the offer was pulled. Why exactly? We still don’t know. Many suggested that Iggy was using the Kings and his former team, the Denver Nuggets, as nothing more than contractual leverage as both teams offered him excessive deals, yet he still looked elsewhere.

After the Kings pulled their offer, the 2012 NBA All-Star was reportedly near a deal with the Dallas Mavericks before a last minute trade from the Golden State Warriors changed his mind, as they were now able to sign the talented defender outright.

Iggy eventually settled on the Warriors and today took some shots at Sacramento Kings general manager Pete D’Alessandro on Twitter, suggesting he looks like the character from Disney’s ‘Despicable Me’ movie:

Despicable Me looking azz boi! Great job Pete Alassandro (sp?) @TheNBPA#NBPALDP

Somebody is salty.
