Los Angeles Dodgers Yasiel Puig Spurns Jay Z, Roc Nation Sports

It was expected by many that Los Angeles Dodgers rookie phenom Yasiel Puig would sign a deal with Jay-Z and his Roc Nation Sports, but that will not be happening.

Jeff Passan is reporting that Puig has left Hov at the alter, opting to sign with Radegen Sports Management who will oversee his marketing and sponsorship deals.

Per Passan:

Guess Jay-Z can’t get everyone. Dodgers star Yasiel Puig signed with Radegen Sports Management to do his marketing and sponsorship deals.

After seemingly locking up anybody and everybody who was available, Jay-Z has now been denied by both Puig and Oakland Athletics outfielder Yoenis Cespedes who said he had no desire to join Jay at Roc Nation.

I’m guessing both Yasiel and Puig are Nas fans and still hold some grudges.

Either way, despite missing out on two of Major League Baseball’s brightest young stars, Mr. Carter isn’t doing too shabby as not only does he have the best selling album in the country but he also inked Robinson Cano‘s first endorsement deal with Pepsi this past week.
