New York Knicks Targeting Al Harrington

The New York Knicks continue to look for veteran players that would like to join the team for minimum money. While Metta World Peace is one potential suitor, the Knicks are also considering adding Al Harrington to the roster, if the Orlando Magic end up buying out the veteran, according to NY Post.

Add small forward Al Harrington to the list of potential Knicks targets. Harrington, a former teammate of Carmelo Anthony’s in Denver, is expected to be bought out by the Magic. The former Knick is in Vegas, where he owns a home.

Harrington played in just 10 games last season due to injury, and Orlando has made it quite clear that the veteran is not part of the team’s future plans. The Magic are building around a young core of players and Harrington is simply not needed. He has two years and over $14 million left on his deal.

The Magic have also been rumored to be in talks with Hedo Turkoglu regarding a potential buyout.
