Toronto Raptors DeMar DeRozan Slams Self Alley-Oop During Drew League (Video)

Last season was a bit of a coming out party for Toronto Raptors swingman, DeMar DeRozan.

While the former USC product has been a stat machine since becoming a starting player, DeRozan took his game to the next level this past year, becoming a more efficient talent on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.

But that doesn’t mean the high flyer forgot how to dunk.

The Los Angeles native was in his backyard this weekend participating in the NBA heavy Drew League, a local pro-am summer league.

Deciding he needed to give the fans a show, DeRozan went with a self alley-oop – but it wasn’t just a typical, run down the court, bounce it off the backboard alley-oop. No, this was at an angle, over a defender, self alley-oop.

It’s one thing to run down the middle of the court like you’re in a dunk contest with multiple attempts and zero defenders awaiting you. It’s another to do it during game action, even if it’s nothing more than a Summer League.

Enjoy the impressive dunk (starts at about :20 seconds) :
