Chip Kelly said it would be “unfair” for the Philadelphia Eagles to name a starter at quarterback before training camp started. That has veteran Michael Vick coming into training camp competing for a starting job with Nick Foles.

While a veteran quarterback who most likely thinks he deserves the job could publicly express his displeasure with the situation, Michael Vick has taken the higher road. He is embracing the quarterback competition and handling the constant barrage of questions regarding it well.

“I have no resentment, no disappointment within myself as far as what the situation is right now because the truth of the matter is you gotta compete every day,” Vick said on Sirius XM NFL Radio. “You gotta compete on Sundays.  You gotta compete off the field, you gotta compete on the field.  And I understand that and that’s the fun part about the game we play.  If it was easy then it wouldn’t be fun.”

A report says that Nick Foles might be beating Michael Vick for the starting job as of right now. But their have been reports that Michael Vick fits Chip Kelly’s offense better.

The Eagles preseason and training camp will be interesting to watch and learn as we see Chip Kelly’s NFL offense and who is at the helm.
