Nick Diaz Offered New UFC Contract, Bout

UFC welterweight contender Nick Diaz appears ready to end his brief retirement. In a recent radio interview, Diaz’s coach, Cesar Gracie, stated that Diaz had a new offer on the table from the UFC and that there is a bout agreement waiting to be signed.

There weren’t many details coming from Gracie, but it is now becoming clearer that Diaz is ready to get back in the octagon.

From BJPenn.com:

Earlier tonight, Cesar Gracie was a featured guest on BJPENN.com Radio and broke the news that Nick Diaz has been offered a fight by the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

“As far as his fighting and everything. He’s been in Vegas, he just got back a couple of days ago. There is an offer on the table, that’s all I can say. It’s something everyone is looking at right now and discussing with him. Dana has offered him a fight. There is an offer on the table, I can’t say who it is, but it’s kind of neat I think. But no decision’s have been made for sure.”

Diaz is always one of the most intriguing characters in the sport and his fights often leave the crowd entertained, so we can’t wait to see Diaz back in the cage.

Until then, share your thoughts in the comments section about the Diaz return and share your thoughts on who the offered opponent may be.
