Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback A.J. McCarron is preparing to take on the media during the final day of SEC Media Days and you can be sure that the three-time national champion will be facing a lot of tough questions. While the media will hound McCarron about what went down at the Manning Passing Academy with his roommate’s love for sleep, a gesture that may be overlooked is what McCarron will be wearing around his neck.
The Alabama signal-caller will be wearing a bow tie for breast cancer awareness in honor of his cousin.
McCarron explained his choice of attire on Twitter before heading out to meet the media circus:
Wearing a breast cancer bow tie today for media days in honor of my cousin. She just got diagnosed with breast cancer so I gotta show love

McCarron has always been a class act and this is just the latest example.
When you consider the circus that follows around other signal-callers in the SEC, it is refreshing to see a level-headed guy out there enjoying the college life while still being a model citizen.
