Justin Upton, Jason Heyward and Freddie Freeman are expected to be back with the Atlanta Braves very soon.

All 3 players bring some power to the Atlanta Braves already dangerous lineup and should get back to where they left off before getting injured.

Upton is coming off of a calf injury and should be expected to start tomorrow against in Chicago against the Chicago White Sox. He is currently hitting .255 with a slugging and OPS of .462 and .815, 16 home runs and 45 RBI’s.

Most of those home runs Upton has connected with were pretty much gone as soon as the ball left the pitcher’s hand. Excited to see how he performs when he returns.

Jason Heyward is also expected to return to the Braves lineup tomorrow after suffering a hamstring injury. Freddie Freeman was cleared to take dry swings and should be hitting off a tee sometime today.

If these activities go smoothly for Freeman, he should be able to return to the starting lineup for the Braves sometime this weekend. He sat out Tuesday’s All-Star game with a jammed left thumb despite winning the final vote over the young Los Angeles Dodger phenom, Yasiel Puig.
