The Simpsons Will Appear on Family Guy Episode in 2014

Fans of the animated FOX comedies Family Guy and The Simpsons are going to be in for a real treat. According to a report from Variety, the Simpsons and Griffins will be coming together for one glorious meeting when the Griffin family makes the trip to Springfield for a crossover episode.

According to the report, the episode will come in fall of 2014.

While the episode is still a good bit away, there is some teaser information surfacing including this tidbit:

Stewie develops an obsession with Bart, while Peter and Homer have a debate over who has the better beer (Pawtucket vs. Duff).”

It is going to be interesting to see how fans of each show embrace this idea.

Both The Simpsons and Family Guy have developed their own cult-like followings, which has led to some debate over which series is more entertaining. Of course, as long as the episode is successful, everyone will come together and enjoy the animated brilliance that is sure to occur.

Personally, this seems like a home run episode and a “dream come true” of sorts.

Will you be looking forward to the crossover episode and what do you hope to see during the episode? Share your thoughts in the comments section and let your voice be heard.
