Oakland A’s 56-40 (L1) +130 @ LA Angels 45-49 (W1) -140 – Over/Under 8 Runs 7:05 Local PST Start.
Oak P Dan Straily (6-2, 4.28 ERA) hasn’t lost since May 15 and has kept his opponents to 2 runs or less in 4 of his last 5 starts. He has a 1-0 record in 3 starts vs the Angels.
LAA P C.J Wilson (9-6, 3.37 ERA) has only given up 2 runs in his last 3 starts and allowed just 1 home run in his last 7 starts. He’s 8-7 lifetime vs the A’s.
The Angels were swept in Seattle previous to getting the win last night after the all-star game. Previous to last night, they have scored 3 runs or less in 5 of their last 6 and have given up at least 4 runs in 4 of their last 5.

Motown’s Money Analysis
PCG’s Subscriber Newsletter has offered 3 games tonight to bet tonight and we’re taking the strongest play. Here’s some analysis:
*Teams that lost their last game to Jered Weaver follow up nicely with a record of 73-64 (53.3%, +17.03 units, +11% roi). They’re also 32-19 (62.7%, +17.23 units, +28.7% roi) SU since 2011, and 18-12 +41% roi as dogs.
*The A’s are 27-10 (73%, +18.34 units, +43.1% roi) SU in July’s since 2012. 16-5 (+66.6% roi) SU as dogs!
*The Angels are just 25-34 (42.4%, -19.87 units, +25.3% roi to fade or bet against) this season in night games. 10-19 (+48.2% roi to fade or bet against) in division games.
Using this as a guide I’m going to say that this is a clear value bet on the A’s in this situation, particularly loving the stat about coming off a loss to Weaver. Teams don’t get dominated at a world class level consistently. C.J Wilson’s recent domination is causing the odds to tip heavily in his favor, as well as the fact that most betters are “assuming” that the Angels are going to get back on track somewhere soon, because they should. The Computer is telling us otherwise in a strong play on the division leading A’s.

Dyce for Dummies
I feel that Oakland will bounce back tonight. They gave up a win in a tight AL West divisional race against the Los Angeles Angels. They had Weaver on the mound, so a loss was to be expected. Especially with the trend PCG gave us yesterday.
The PCG bounce back trend is telling, and I’m trusting the computer on this one.
