British Open 2013: Ernie Els Hits Epic Shot For Eagle (Video)

Defending Open Championship winner Ernie Els nailed one of the best shots of the year in the final round on Sunday. Els was staring down the flag when he launched a beautiful shot from the fairway that landed perfectly in the hole. It couldn’t have been a better or more accurate shot for the eagle.

Els is currently ten strokes back from leader Adam Scott, so he won’t be winning back-to-back Open Championships, but that won’t take away from his picture perfect shot that will define this tournament for him.

Tiger Woods is six shots back after some early struggles.
