While his brother Maurkice Pouncey has already apologized for wearing a “Free Hernandez” hat at a nightclub, Mike Pouncey doesn’t seem to have saying sorry on his agenda. The Miami Dolphins center brushed off questions about the photo when he was asked about it on Sunday after the opening practice of training camp: “Look, I’m just here just to focus on football. It’s training camp right now, so we’re just here to focus on football” (USA Today Sports).

Anyone else think he’s focused on football? He seems focused on football.

Pouncey continued: “We’re all football right now. Any football questions, I’m welcome to answer.”

Yep, definitely focused on football.

The Pouncey brothers were teammates with Aaron Hernandez at the University of Florida. Hernandez, of course, has been charged with the murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd and is being held without bail.

What do you say, FanSiders? Should Mike Pouncey issue an apology? Was the whole ordeal blown way out of proportion? Sound off in the comments below.
