Game of Thrones pays tribute to dead characters at Comic-Con (Video)

Game of Thrones is one of the most popular television series’ on air and that showed during San Diego Comic-Con with the large turnout for the show’s panel. While fans were eager to chat with the stars, writers and producers of the show, they would first have to wait as a video was shown to honor all of the characters who were killed in the third season.

Much like the “In Memoriam” videos that we see at award shows every year, Game of Thrones brought their own twist in the video that ended with the words, “The North Remembers.”

The panel of executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, writer and co-executive producer George R.R. Martin, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Rose Leslie (Ygritte), Richard Madden (Robb Stark) and John Bradley West (Samwell Tarly) were all apparently on hand for the panel to kick off the video of remembrance.

During Comic-Con, the Game of Thrones panel reportedly spent most of their time talking about “The Red Wedding” and the upcoming Game of Thrones books. If you want to check out the full panel, you can watch the video here.

As for when you the show returns to television, there is no official date. However, we have a pretty good idea of the time frame for Game of Thrones‘ return.
