Jay-Z and Roc Nation Sports already have some impressive clients in their stable including Kevin Durant and Robinson Cano, but that hasn’t stopped them from setting their eyes on one of the most impressive college talents that we have seen. According to reports, Jay-Z is in regular contact with South Carolina Gamecocks star defensive end Jadeveon Clowney in an effort to make him their next star client once he finishes up his time at South Carolina.
The initial news came from Inside the League:
According to @InsideTheLeague Jadeveon Clowney is in regular contact with Jay Z & will likely end up choosing Roc Nation Sports.

It’s hard to blame Jay-Z for going after the player that many believe will be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, but he is currently only able to represent NBA and MLB players, so he has no chance of signing a NFL client at this time, especially when they are still in college.
The interesting aspect of this story is that the reports would lead to obvious NCAA sanctions for the South Carolina star, but it’s hard to prove that the two have been in contact.
