Jose Mourinho: Manchester United Will Not Land Cristiano Ronaldo

Jose Mourinho left Real Madrid this summer in order to return to the Premier League and Chelsea. While the Portuguese manager is trying to strengthen his own squad, he is aware of his rival’s top targets.

Manchester United have been pursuing Cristiano Ronaldo, but Mourinho believes that Real Madrid will not engage in any discussions just yet.

Jose Mourinho believes Real Madrid will block any attempt by Manchester United to take Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford.

He said: “What I know is that Real Madrid are such a rich club they don’t need to sell and are such a rich club I think they can beat any offer a club can have on Ronaldo. I know Ronaldo loves Man United and I know he loves the Premier League but I think he is going to stay. It’s just a feeling, no contact, nothing just a feeling.

Ronaldo himself has also indicated that he is not planning to move in the immediate future, but he does miss the Premier League, and could return in a couple of years.
