Chicago Bears pro bowl wide-receiver Brandon Marshall will be a full-go for the first day of Chicago Bears training camp on Friday after off-season hip surgery.
Marshall missed all of spring workouts, but the Bears don’t expect any players on their roster to open up on either the physically unable to perform or non-football related injuries list.
Previous speculation had Marshall questionable for the start of training camp.
“No limitations, but we’re gonna be smart. I’m going on my eight year, have had a few hip surgeries, nothing major. But at the same time, we start playing games in September. So that’s what I’m preparing for.” – Brandon Marshall told ESPN Chicago
Entering his 2nd season as a Chicago Bear, with best friend Jay Cutler, Marshall is projected to have another 1,000 yard receiving year. A healthy Brandon Marshall along with a healthy Jay Cutler isn’t good for defenses they go up against this season. These two tend to connect time and time again, with nobody really stopping them unless Cutler doesn’t have the protection he needs to find Marshall.
