Detroit Tigers star third baseman Miguel Cabrera is one of the best players in baseball, but he is also a man that goes the extra mile to defeat world hunger. During last night’s game against the Chicago White Sox, Cabrera tried to feed teammate Brayan Pena a Fig Newton in the dugout.

When you are out of the game with a sore hip flexor, you have to find ways to keep yourself entertained, so it is no surprise that Cabrera resorted to such juvenile entertainment. Quite honestly, I ain’t mad at him. It was incredible to watch.

Pena and Cabrera enjoyed a hearty laugh with the rest of us after Cabrera unsuccessfully fed Pena the figalicious treat.

If you missed the incredible moment between Cabrera and Pena, then you need to watch the video below. It will make you appreciate the joy that you have sitting at home and watching the games while the players are sitting in the dugout bored out of their minds.
