When Ryan Braun was going through a PED scandal following a MVP season in 2011, his friend and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers defended him. He kept using the hash tag #exonerated.

But when one fan asked if Rodgers was delusional, Rodgers responded with a bet he most likely regrets. He bet his entire single season salary, roughly $4.5 million for 2013, on his innocence.

Well now Ryan Braun has admitted to PED use and been suspended the remainder of the season without pay.

The winner of the bet Todd Sutton has been relatively quiet on the subject at first. But now he has spoken out on Twitter and with USA Today.

From USA TODAY:

"“I’d just take a game check,” Sutton told USA TODAY Sports on Tuesday, laughing. That would only cost Rodgers $281,250. After receiving a new $66 million contract in April, Rodgers certainly has the cash to pay up.“I’m not really expecting to hear from him. It’d be cool, but I doubt it’s going to happen,” Sutton said."

If I were Sutton I’d settle for some tickets or signed merchandise. An autographed framed jersey would be cool.
