Kansas City Chiefs fans, you can now breathe a sigh of relief and turn your concern in to joy. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Chiefs have agreed to terms with No. 1 overall pick Eric Fisher just in time for the team’s first practice of training camp.

According to the PFT report, Fisher is currently on his way to camp where he will finalize and ink his rookie contract.

Details of the deal are still scare, but we do know that it will include offset language. We will continue to update you with the details of the contract as they become available, but for now enjoy the fact that the top pick in the draft is under contract and reporting for duty.

Hopefully he can put in the early work and prepare for the start of the season to prove to the Chiefs and their fans that he was worthy of the top pick.
