The Los Angeles Clippers have fortified their roster leaving little floor time for Lamar Odom if he was to return for the upcoming season.
Knowing this, Odom reached out to the Los Angeles Lakers who appeared relatively interested at first but now question what Odom could give them.
According to Kevin Ding, the Lakers aren’t exactly sure how much gas Odom has left in the tank and they don’t want to spend too much money on an aging player who has never been known for his work ethic:
@RealLamarOdom might be coming around to joining Lakers, but Lakers not sold on what he can give them. So, still unlikely.
Odom has more or less done everything he can to stay in Los Angeles this offseason but may have been a bit too high on his contractual demands which lead to the Clippers apparently moving on, something the Lakers may opt to do as well.
If Odom is to stay with the Clippers or switch locker rooms and head to the purple and gold of the Los Angeles Lakers, he’s going to need to reduce his price and expectations for floor time.
