In other Miami Dolphins news, franchise player Randy Starks is working as the Dolphins No. 3 defensive tackle in their rotation at training camp.

With Olivier Vernon picking up the right end position, Jared Odrick has taken over as a first-team tackle next to Paul Soliai. The current left end is you guessed it, Cameron Wake. He was asked today if he would be sat down due to his absence at OTA’s.

“It could be partly because I said out, it could be partly because Jared Odrick did a good job and I wasn’t here. I’m not really paying attention to that. It’s still the first week. We haven’t played a game. If they want me to go back to doing my usual role like i did my first year here, that’s fine. If they want me to be the main guy, that’s fine too.” – Starks told Palm Beach Post

Starks doesn’t know whether he’ll regain his starting job before Week 1.

“That’s what I’m working toward, that’s what I’m thinking, but you never know.” He also said in the interview with Palm Beach Post
