Green Bay Packers 7th round pick wide receiver Charles Johnson will have an MRI on his right knee after tweaking it during Saturday’s training camp practice.

Johnson went down early on in practice and reports were that it didn’t look good. He hobbled to the training room but returned to the practice field as a spectator. Johnson missed much of spring with an undisclosed injury. He better hope his knee injury isn’t as serious as people fear.

The rookie can’t afford to miss any reps this season, we’ll just have to see what the results are on his MRI.

The 2nd Packers wide receiver to go down was undrafted receiver Sederrick Cunningham, as he underwent wrist surgery on Friday. Cunningham was undrafted last season out of Furman, he didn’t receive any invites to training camp. So now that he is in Green Bay, what kind of luck is it that he dislocates his wrist yesterday, having to undergo surgery today and miss out working with Aaron Rodgers?

He signed with Green Bay back in April, looking to become a part of this dangerous wide receiver group with Aaron Rodgers throwing the pig skin.
