The Milwaukee Bucks have certainly had an interesting offseason.
While they lost Monta Ellis to the Dallas Mavericks in free agency and traded J.J. Redick to the Los Angeles Clippers, the Bucks opened up their wallet by signing a handful of players though many have questioned the fit of the acquisitions.
MIL & ATL were top two pursuers after Spurs withdrew qualifying offer to make Neal unrestricted free agent. Deal w/Bucks now expected today
Signed as an undrafted free agent, Neal has spent all three of his professional seasons in the Alamo as a reserve, averaging nearly identical minutes (21) for each of the said seasons.
A plus defender, Neal would certainly bring much needed perimeter defense to the Bucks, something they lost when they traded Luc Richard Mbah a Moute to the Sacramento Kings earlier this offseason in exchange for a second round pick.
There has been no word on the financial figures of the deal.
