There is no question that the Phoenix Suns are in full-blown rebuilding mode and that they are working on another deal to get even younger. Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reported late Friday night that the Suns were working on a deal to send forward Luis Scola to the Indiana Pacers and that the deal was close to being done and now we have more details.

It appears that Pacers star Danny Granger was originally discussed in the deal, but as things progressed he was dropped from negotiations.

From Marc Stein of ESPN.com:

Scola is a durable player that would bring the Pacers some veteran experience off the bench at an affordable salary.

As for the Suns, they would get ride of another player in his thirties as they set their youth movement in to full effect.
