If you’ve never been to the Drew League in Los Angeles, you’re missing out. Filled with some of the NBA’s top talent, the recreational league is essentially an up close NBA All-Star game filled with premier talent and often times celebrities.
One such celebrity is the rapper Game who reportedly has thrown down $50,000 dollars in a bet with Los Angeles native and former NBA point guard, Baron Davis.
Davis’ LAUNFD team is scheduled to meet Game’s Money Gang squad this coming Sunday and rather than talk trash, the boys decided to put their money where their mouth is.
Per The Game’s Twitter:
#MoneyGang plays #LAUNFD this Sunday in #TheDrew at 12:15pm & @baron_davis just called me & told me he wanna put 50k on it.
Game’s team, which is lead by Indiana Pacers star Paul George is 8-1 while Davis’ squad is a more paltry 5-3. However, Davis does have a few secret weapons up his sleeve – namely a Houston Rocket and a Oklahoma City Thunder. According to Larry Brown Sports, former teammates James Harden and Kevin Durant are expected to join Davis’ team for the weekend as they try to upset George and Game’s league leading team.
