In the latest odds for the 2014 NHL season, the Chicago Blackhawks have been chosen to win the Stanley Cup, which would be their third in the past five years. Behind them is Pittsburgh, followed by Boston, Los Angeles, and St. Louis. If Chicago was to win the Cup in 2014, it would be the first time since 1998 that there was a repeat winner (Detroit Red Wings).

If we take a step back from the championship, and look at the conference finals, the odds get a little different. The Penguins are 5-2 favorites to win the Eastern Conference Finals, followed by Boston and Detroit, who are both close as far as odds go.

The West is a little more separated however. The Blackhawks are clear favorites (5-2) as of right now to take the West, with the Kings and Blues at 6-1.
