The trade talks for Bud Norris were heating up, but it is the Baltimore Orioles that land the Astros pitcher.

According to Ken Rosenthal on twitter, (@Ken_Rosenthal), “Sources: Orioles agree to acquire Norris from Astros for Hoes and another piece. Finalizing now.”

Multiple teams were involved in trade talks for Norris and they began to accelerate as the trade deadline approached, so a deal was imminent.

The pitcher is going to be a great asset to the Orioles pitching staff. They need another solid arm to add to their starting rotation. In exchange for Norris, the Orioles send LJ Hoes, a LH minor league pitcher, and a Comp. B pick to Houston.

Norris this season with Houston is 6-9 with a 3.93 ERA. Norris who is 28, also has 90 strikeouts on the season.
