The Toronto Blue Jays are reportedly looking for infield help after moving Brett Lawrie back to third base and one place they are looking to is Los Angeles, According to the latest buzz leading up to the MLB trade deadline, the Blue Jays are interested in Angels second baseman Howie Kendrick.

In recent days, the Blue Jays have expressed genuine interest in second baseman Howie Kendrick of the Los Angeles Angels, Sportsnet has learned.

Kendrick is an established player in the midst of a strong season, but general manager Alex Anthopoulos may simply be doing his due diligence on a capable player known to be available in trade talks.

The second baseman has a clause in his contract that allows him to block trades to a dozen teams, but there is no word on whether or not the Blue Jays are one of those teams on the list.
