MLB trade deadline: Cleveland Indians working hard to find a starter

The MLB trade deadline is here and a variety of news pieces are starting to come out stating what each team is planning on doing. The Cleveland Indians have had interest in finding a starter for quite some time now and continue to search as the clock keeps ticking away.

We have known for a while the Indians had interest in a guy like Matt Garza, but he was the first domino to fall. Cleveland still has an interest in a guy like Josh Outman of the Colorado Rockies.

The report of the Indians still working hard to find a starter comes from Nick Cafardo via Twitter:

This should not come as a surprise considering how Indians pitching has been performing as of late. As of right now the Indians do not have a lot of trade material to work with and the cost of landing a starting pitcher is ridiculously high this year.

Still, credit the Indians for making an attempt. There is plenty of starting pitching to be had, but the cost is steep.
