The MLB trade deadline is just a few hours away and teams are making the final push to bolster their rosters as they gear up for a late-season push. One of the teams that is expected to make a move is the Chicago Cubs, who are reportedly dangling outfielders David DeJesus and Nate Schierholtz.

ESPN’s Jayson Stark added to the belief that Schierholtz could be moved and he also mentioned the Pittsburgh Pirates, who are looking to add outfield help. Pittsburgh would make sense for both players, but Schierholtz could be the most intriguing option for the team.
Schierholtz is batting .272/.332/.517 with 14 home runs and 43 RBI in 2013.
