Yesterday afternoon, Philadelphia Phillies infielder Michael Young said he would only accept a trade to one team, his former squad, the Texas Rangers.
Apparently, Young slept on it and has now opted to include a second team in his list – the Boston Red Sox.
And what do you know, the Red Sox have been talking with the Phillies about acquiring the talented third baseman for a few weeks now.

The Red Sox have struggled to find security at the hot corner this year.
There was hope when the season began that Will Middlebrooks would become the Red Sox’s third baseman of the future but his struggles eventually lead to a demotion to the minor leagues where he’s still scuffled. Now gearing up for a playoff run, the Red Sox are looking at Young as a half season rental who would be a solid addition to an already talented Boston lineup.
