Logan Morrison and the Miami Marlins defeated the New York Mets today 3-0.

Morrison had a go-ahead RBI single off of Matt Harvey, after entering the day hitting just .184 with 1 RBI in 11 games since the All-Star break.

Tom Koehler tossed 6 scoreless innings, giving up 5 hits, 5 walks. The 27 year old right hander has an ERA of 4.34 on the season with a K/BB ratio of 59/31. Not a dominant outing, but it was enough to keep the Mets in order.

Matt Harvey was on the losing end of this game, giving up 3 runs over 5 2/3 innings pitched today. He held Miami to just 1 hit over 5 innings, but gave up those 3 runs in the 6th inning before he was pulled from the ball game. The young right handed pitcher now has an ERA of 4.50 in 3 starts at Marlins Park this season.

Omar Quintanilla went 1-3 with a walk in todays game. He started out hot this season, but has batted just .195 in his last 34 games. Omar is a career .222 hitter.
