Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Cameron is one of the most promising tight ends in the NFL heading in to the 2013-14 season and his chance to put up great statistics is helped by the fact that he will be a big part of new offensive coordinator Norv Turner’s vertical passing attack.

While early reports during Browns OTAs and minicamps were saying Cameron would have a big role in the offense, the training camp practices are backing that up.

According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Cameron has been targeted  ”early and often” during camp. They also report that he has been “making good progress” as each practice passes.

With star wide receiver Josh Gordon suspended for the first two games of the season, Cameron will get even more targets from quarterback Brandon Weeden, so he is a name that you need to keep an eye on if you are looking to add a tight end on your fantasy team that some of your friends may not know.

There is no doubt that the Browns offense has the potential to be exciting this season and Cameron will be a large part of their success.
