Despite not signing a contract yet, free agent Antawn Jamison has no shortage of suitors.
Jamison, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers this past season tried to switch Staples Center locker rooms when free agency opened, but the Los Angeles Clippers wanted to spend their money elsewhere.
The Clippers did exactly that and now they’re looking for some cheap, back-end of the bench help which they’re hopeful Jamison will provide.
Lakers free agent forward Antawn Jamison is having dinner with Clippers coach Doc Rivers on Saturday night, a source told Y! Sports.
If the Clippers don’t deem Jamison worthy of a roster spot, the NBA veteran could return to the Lakers or he could sign with one of the other interested parties, which include the Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Bobcats.
One of Jamison’s former teams, the Washington Wizards, also had interest in the forward but they have apparently moved on.
