Michael Oher prefers right tackle over left tackle

Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle, Michael Oher said he prefers to play right tackle over left tackle.

“I’ve flip-flopped back and forth ever since I got here and played both sides but I think right tackle is my best position. I think I’m better over there and the team is better with me other there.” Oher told the Baltimore Sun

The fifth year pro is right about that last part. No matter which side he’s played, Oher has given up far too many pressures. Oher is entering the final year of his contract, so he could really use a big season if he wants to cash in like Indianapolis Colts right tackle Gosder Cherilus did back in March.

Cherilus picked up five years, $34.5 million with $15.5 million of it guaranteed. He already seen his quarterback Joe Flacco get a new huge contract after helping the Baltimore Ravens win the Super Bowl over the San Francisco 49ers back in February.

So the main character from ‘The Blind-Side’ could possibly use this season to get more money than Cherilus did, making him the Joe Flacco of the offensive line.

I’m a fan of the guy, that I will admit.
