Notre Dame schedules itself to play in BCS title game, on the wrong day (photo)

Teams have a variety of motivational tools and Notre Dame isn’t much different, though, their most recent attempt to boost moral might stir the pot for rival teams.

Brian Hamilton was in the Irish’s locker room recently where the season schedule is posted for all to see. Nothing really stands out except for the final week of the season, where the Irish are scheduled to fly to Pasadena to take part in the 2014 BCS Championship game.

#NotreDame planning a return trip, it seems, with Game 13.

Now, in fairness to Notre Dame, they had a wonderful 2012 season and 2013 shouldn’t be any different, but do you really want to bite off more than you can chew before you ever take a snap?

On the plus side, at least the schedule looks really nice and they didn’t post the wrong date.

Wait. Crap. The game is scheduled for January 6th and not January 7th, like Notre Dame posted on their schedule board?

Well this isn’t starting out well.
