Antawn Jamison has a 'great' dinner with Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers

The Los Angeles Clippers had expressed interest in Antawn Jamison earlier this offseason as free agency broke, but Jamison was reportedly looking for a bit larger role and a few extra dollars from what the Clippers were offering.

They moved on and filled out their bench while Jamison struggled to find the perfect situation.

Now without a team, Jamison has been sending out feelers around the league and the Clippers, despite having a loaded bench, are potentially open to a cheap deal if Jamison is.

The former North Carolina star met with Clippers head coach Doc Rivers for dinner last night, which went ‘great’ according to Ramona Shelburne:

Antawn Jamison and Clippers coach Doc Rivers had a great talk at dinner tonight. Chicago, Memphis have also expressed interest

There’s no word on what the Clippers or any other interested team is offering Jamison, though, one would figure he’d find the most limited minutes with Los Angeles where he’d become a back-end of the bench player.
