Jake Locker and the Tennessee Titans held a scrimmage yesterday.

Locker competed 16 of 26 passes with three touchdowns. Two of Lockers touchdowns came in goal-line scenarios.

Locker reportedly had a tough time early on and threw wide of tight end Craig Stevens on numerous occasions before finally settling in, according to Nashville Tennessean.

Wide receiver Justin Hunter dropped two balls, including one that hit him square in the chest. Drops were a major concern for the Tennessee Titans during the 2012 season, where Hunter was one of the least efficient receivers in the nation at the University of Tennessee.

Hunter lacks natural hands and has been a heavy target of criticism by coaches and teammates at spring and summer practices.

Other notes from the Nashville Tennessean, linebacker Colin McCarthy, running back Jalen Parmele, center Brian Schwenke, kicker Rob Bironas, linebacker Zaviar Gooden and corner-back Matthew Pierce did not participate in the scrimmage yesterday for the Titans.

The one thing I am still curious about, when it comes to this team is, will this one-two punch of Chris Johnson and Shonn Greene work for this team?

The Tennessee Titans open up their pre-season against RG3’s Washington Redskins on Thursday in Tennessee.
