The Indianapolis Colts got some good news, Darrius Heyward-Bey’s MRI on his knee came back negative. While he hasn’t torn his MCL he does have a sprain and is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks.

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is disappointed about the injury.

“Yeah, it stinks when a guy goes down but it is the nature of football and hopefully it is not too serious, I don’t think it is,” quarterback Andrew Luck said, via ESPN.com. “I feel very comfortable with all those guys, they do the right things, they run the right routes at the right time, they know how to get to the spot.”

Darrius Heyward-Bey was having a good camp so far as well.

“He’s growing, he’s getting better and better each week,” Reggie Wayne said, via ESPN.com. “He can be a freak of nature, he really can be. So I’m here to help him in whatever way I can. ”

The Colts will probably look to wide receiver T.Y. Hilton to fill DHB’s role as the number 2 receiver.

“We feel like our backups are very capable,” offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton said. “I expect the next guy to step up.”
