The New Orleans Saints are currently in search of a wide receiver to replace the injured Joe Morgan, who went down Saturday with multiple knee injuries.

One such name that has popped up is current Washington Redskins receiver, Devery Henderson who is reportedly sixth on the Redskins depth chart and is likely to be waived prior to camp ending.

The New Orleans Times is reporting the Saints may try to scoop Henderson up if the Skins let him go:

"For #fantasyfootball purposes, too early to predict who will fill #Saints Joe Morgan void. Veteran Steve Breaston has a real opportunity if he can prove he’s healthy/refreshed, although he’s more of a shifty slot receiver than a deep threat. If not Breaston, maybe the Saints look at another veteran like Laurent Robinson. Devery Henderson would be a perfect fit if he doesn’t crack the Redskins roster."

Henderson of course has spent all nine seasons of his career with the Saints and could be back for a tenth if given his walking papers by the Redskins this training camp.
