The move between the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets shook up the NBA not too long ago. Now that The Truth and Garnett are putting on Brooklyn Nets uniforms this season, it’s going to take some time to get used to seeing.
In an interview with SLAM Magazine, they were able to talk to Paul Pierce about what went down with himself, Garnett, Rivers and the franchise.
“I didn’t want to be a part of rebuilding. Kevin didn’t want to be a part of rebuilding, Doc didn’t want to be a part of rebuilding. I think it was all mutual.” Piece said in SLAM’s interview
Of course a random but somewhat valuable piece to the puzzle, was Jason Terry. The Boston Celtic’s second all-time leading scorers minutes have decreased in the past three seasons, dropping to 33.5 minutes per game last season and could see them dip once again now that he’s in a crowded Brooklyn Nets line up.
Pierce can still contribute to this team, averaging 19.2 points per game in the playoffs with 42.5 minutes.
