Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston to play Lex Luthor in Man of Steel sequel?

Lex Luthor is one of the biggest super villains that can be cast and it looks like a big-time actor could be filling the shoes of the role for the Man of Steel sequel from Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. The biggest rumor circulating the role is that Bryan Cranston, who plays Walter White on the hit show Breaking Bad, is the leading candidate to get the role.

Cranston is already an excellent villain in Breaking Bad, so many people would love to see him continue his mean streak in another evil role.

El Mayimbe at Latino-Review.com tweeted out some clues about who the next Lex Luthor could be and, if they are to be believed, there is very little doubt that Cranston is the man who fits the description.

If the next Lex Luthor is indeed Cranston, then it is a brilliant decision by Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. It will be perfect timing to capitalize on Cranston and it will be an actor that is going to generate plenty of buzz for a film that is already going to have hype heading in to it’s official theater release.

All signs point to Cranston playing the next Lex Luthor, but what would you think of that decision? Sound off in the comments section and share your thoughts.

I’m totally on board for this. I’ve never seen Breaking Bad but if Cranston is as bad ass as everyone says then he’s definitely going to fill the shoes of one of Superman’s biggest enemies. I’d prefer Michael Rosenbaum but hey, we can’t have everything we want in life right?
