Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson continues to be slowed down by nagging injuries, but the team is not concerned about his health for the regular season. As a testament to that, head coach Rob Chudzinski said that many players will be returning to action and getting into the flow of the game. One of the players mentioned by the Browns coach was Trent Richardson
“I think we’ll have a number of guys that’ll be back practicing within the next couple days that were out for this game, and we’ll obviously have to see how that goes,” said Chudzinski, via the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “But I’m expecting Trent to practice and then we’ll see as far as getting him some rep time and getting him some work in the game.”
The Browns are hoping for Richardson to be their workhorse back and that will require him to be healthy and in game shape.
That will all start with Richardson getting healthy enough to take the field in the team’s second preseason game of the season.
